Āmpli is operated by SERENIUM LLP. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Who We Are
Āmpli is an AI-native social media planning, content generation, publishing, and analytics platform operated by SERENIUM LLP ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a limited liability partnership incorporated in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (LLPIN: ACW-7325).
"You" and "Your" refer to the user of Āmpli's website, platform, or services. "Customer" refers to the agency or organisation that holds a workspace subscription.
Scope & Roles: When you sign up as an individual, SERENIUM LLP acts as the data controller of your personal information. When your organisation uses Āmpli to manage brand content, connected social accounts, and workspace members, we typically act as a data processor on behalf of that organisation (the Customer), which acts as the data controller for the content and analytics it processes through Āmpli. Enterprise customers may execute a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with us.
Information We Collect
2a. Information you provide
- Name, work email, organisation name, phone number (optional), password, time zone, and billing details where applicable.
- Brand materials you ingest: website URLs, uploaded briefs, concept notes, brand guidelines, product information.
- Content drafts, generated assets, scheduling metadata, and social account connection tokens (stored encrypted).
- Analytics data you authorise us to pull from connected social platforms.

- Device type, device ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and usage behaviour within the platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing, operating, and improving the Āmpli platform and its AI features.
- Personalising your workspace experience and content recommendations.
- Processing billing transactions and managing your subscription.
- Sending transactional emails, product updates, and security alerts.
- Detecting fraud, abuse, and ensuring the security of the platform.
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Use.
- Conducting aggregated, anonymised product research and analytics to improve our service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content or brand materials to train general-purpose AI models made available to other customers.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 90 days following account deletion, to allow recovery.
- Content and scheduling data is retained as long as your workspace is active. You may delete individual content items at any time.
- Billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with applicable financial and tax regulations.
- Analytics and usage logs are retained in aggregated form for up to 24 months.
- After account deletion, personal data is purged from production systems within 90 days and from backups within 180 days.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including rights under India's DPDP Act, 2023, the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the California CCPA), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@ampli.studio. We will respond within 30 days. For DPDP and GDPR-related requests, we will acknowledge receipt within 72 hours.
International Transfers
SERENIUM LLP is incorporated in India. Our sub-processors (listed in Section 04) are primarily located in the United States. When you use Āmpli, your personal data and content may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside India, including the United States and the European Union.
Where your personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for EEA/UK data subjects
- Contractual commitments from our sub-processors to maintain equivalent data protection standards
- Compliance with applicable data protection laws in the data subject's jurisdiction, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Children's Privacy
Āmpli is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 16, we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

- Maintain a version history accessible on request.
